Damien
Episode(s): The entire season especially Pot O Gold
What do we know about Rory? He's Irish. He's Irish. He
wants to sleep with Brittany. And oh yeah he's Irish. Does he contribute
anything else? I don't care that he has never tasted peanut butter and I get that he won
the Glee Project but I thought Ryan Murphy wanted a character he could write
for, not a person to take up space. Get a personality then come back.
Will is Becoming Obnoxious
Episode(s): Spanish Teacher
Episode(s): Spanish Teacher
I think the more women Will kisses, and the more
competitions his Glee club win, the more egotistical he has become. Poor Emma.
She works night and day on her pamphlets and what does he say? "They're
silly Emma" You know what Will? You're the Spanish teacher who doesn't
know that "to talk" means conversan in Spanish!
Too Many Sappy Songs
Episode(s): Almost all of them
Episode(s): Almost all of them
In Season One, there was one primary episode devoted
to ballads (sensibly titled "Ballad") But now there are cheesy songs
about acceptance and love sprinkled in almost every episode. Everyone is
serenading everybody and their mother which takes away the specialness of being
serenaded in the first place! Someone goes away? Serenade them. Someone gets
dumped? Serenade them. Someone does not get accepted to college? Serenade them.
Someone falls down the stairs? Freaking serenade them.
Sugar
Episode(s): Alot
Episode(s): Alot
Annoying voice and underdeveloped character. Why do
Artie and Rory compete for her anyway? Even they are too good for her.
THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOULD BE NAMED SUGAR IS SUGAR KANE FROM THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME SOME LIKE IT HOT!

Blaine's Big Brother
Episode: Big Brother
Irrelevant
No One Having ANY Ambition or Direction
Episode: Most of the later Season 3 episodes especially Saturday Night Glee-ver
Does Mckinley High not have any college counselors or is everyone just super lazy? Why is it that kids are approaching the end of their senior year and have no future lined up? And why is everyone acting like it's totally normal? (Plus keep in mind that 100% of students that graduated from my high school went on to college) Finn commented in the first season how everyone in the town of Lima was a loser but I didn't realize how true that was until Season 3. You don't need to go to college but most of the Glee kids seem to be wandering aimlessly (which is funny for a Glee club titled New Directions). Let's take a look at some of the characters:
Finn- Joins the army but ends up leaving after a few months and then "working" at his old high school with no teaching degree or experience
Mercedes- Moves to California with only a Youtube video and a dream. The odds are not in her favor.
Puck- Moves his pool cleaning business to California. Why California? And does he really think he can make a living cleaning pools and sleeping with older women?
Kurt- When he doesn't get into the college of his choice, he stays home and hangs around his dad's garage. Not exactly on the Broadway track.
Rachel- Rachel has been called one of the most ambitious of the Glee characters. I call her single minded. Which is a good quality. But can you really call her ambitious if she only applied to one college to make her dreams come true?
Whitney Houston
Episode: Dance with Somebody
Glee really pushed the envelope when the they forced this "Whitney Houston" episode on us. Where did Emma get her degree? Because I'm pretty sure it's not normal for people to still be grieving two months after the death of someone they didn't know? And if they are mourning for Whitney to not focus on "the pain of graduation" (in that school it should be the joy) why don't they stop focusing on Whitney and start focusing on something relevant to their lives? Honestly this was one of the worst Glee ideas so far and that includes the aforementioned Pot of Gold episodes.
Brittany's Presidency
Episode: I Kissed A Girl
Only in a school like McKinley could someone as stupid as Brittany ever get elected student council president. And what is her big decision? Have a dinosaur themed prom with no hairspray.
The Non Resolved Quinn and Joe Relationship
Episode: None (Sadly)
Quinn and Joe was one of my favorite relationships of the entire series even though it technically was not a relationship. What happened with them? One episode they are kissing and Joe is deciding to choose Quinn or God (although honestly I don't remember why he had to choose because isn't she a born again virgin?) and then you don't hear anything about them for the rest of the season. Or the next season. If they could wrap this up in Season 5 I would be most grateful. I would be even more grateful if Quinn ended up getting back together with Puck but I don't know if that is ever going to happen.
